We are pleased to offer custom Cake Smash Photoshoots at our Asheville Portrait Studio.
Each of our Cake Smash Sessions includes a custom designed set based on your preferences for theme and color pallet! Cake Smash Sessions last approximately one hour and include enough time for classic milestone portraits of your baby (with parents and /or siblings if you would like!), cake smash portraits for your baby and optional splash bath portraits after the smash!

- Your Photographer's time, talent and expertise to shoot (1-2hrs), edit (3-4hrs) and deliver an online proof gallery as well as time for final edits, design, ordering and delivery of your professional print products (2hrs).
At Asheville Portrait Company, we value family & try really hard to prioritize having a Healthy Work / Life Balance. We believe that it directly affects our attitude, energy, creativity and ultimately our success.
As such, we can only accept 5 Babies for Cake Smash Portrait Sessions each month. We encourage you to book you session as far in advance as possible to ensure date / time availability for your little one!

Can we get a few Family / Sibling Photos?
You’ll want to dress in colors that are in line with the theme for the session! You'll want to dress in a way that feels authentic. You’ll want to dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident — like the very best version of you! I am happy to help you to put together your wardrobe for the session OR you can borrow something from my client closet at the studio if you'd like!

What should we wear?
We'll chat about theme / color pallet during your pre-session phone consultation!
I provide everything that's needed for the session including backdrops, balloon garland, set design props etc.
If you have items at home that would be cute for the theme, you can certainly bring those!
Otherwise, just baby's wardrobe OR you can borrow something from the client closet!

What do we need to bring?
Due to high demand and limited availability, Creative Fees are non-refundable for any reason.
In the event of illness, inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will simply re-schedule for the very next available date / time that works for both of us!
If possible, we will shoot before or after any inclement weather.
