Asheville’s #1 Family Photographer shares a look at spring family photos at the NC Arboretum in Asheville, North Carolina
Sixteen Month Olds’ move pretty fast! 🤣 This was my second time photographing sweet Layton! Her mama booked Milestone Portraits for her girl and I first photographed her when she was just nine months old (in the sunflower field at Biltmore)! This time around, her mama wanted NC Arboretum Family Photos for their walls and I was more than happy to oblige because the Arboretum provides so many beautiful location options, all concentrated in one central area (manicured gardens, pathways, arbors, fences, trails, open fields, mountain views and beautiful, native flowering trees and plants!)
Here’s the thing, nine month olds are the absolute perfect age to photograph! They are all roley poley, slobbering, grinning balls of joyful sunshine. And, most importantly, they’re a captive audience! (since most of them aren’t on the go quite yet!)
Sixteen month olds, on the other hand, are FAST! They want to GO, GO, GO and they wanna Explore! 😋 Also, they’ve got some opinions! 🤣
Despite her speed, I think we still got some sweet shots of Layton at 16 months!
