Asheville’s #1 Maternity & Newborn Photographer shares a look at beautiful Biltmore Estate Maternity Photos in Asheville, NC.
We shot Bethany’s Biltmore Estate Maternity Photos in Asheville in two parts! You can see part 1 (the boho studio session) here: Boho Studio Maternity Session
After Bethany booked her Maternity Session, during our Pre-Session Consultation, she mentioned that she was torn between wanting a boho studio session and wanting beautiful, picturesque, outdoor Maternity Photos. So, I suggested we shoot both (since my studio is so close to Biltmore Estate), it would be easy to just pop over to the estate to capture some spring blooms and also some mountain views while we were at it!
Expecting in 2024?
When should I book my Maternity Portrait Session?
You’ll want to book your Maternity Session by about 20-25 weeks (so that we have time to select & order any couture gowns, wardrobe or props) that we need for your session! To ensure that they’re delivered in time for your session!
When do we shoot Maternity Photos?
I typically photograph Expectant Mamas between 30-33 weeks! This is because we’re still in the “safe zone” — that is to say: you most likely aren’t going in to labor before the session! Also, your sweet baby belly has POP’d but you’re not yet retaining water (in your face, ankles and legs etc.). And, most expectant mamas are typically feeling pretty good during this timeframe!
How does shooting Biltmore Estate Maternity Photos work?
In order to gain entrance to Biltmore Estate, you must either have a season pass or valid daytime tickets.
During Daylight Savings (Spring, Summer and early Fall), when the sun doesn’t set until 7:00pm or later, I can take you into the Estate with me (after 5pm), in my car, in order to access the grounds. This does not allow you to tour the house but we can shoot on the grounds of the estate, my favorites are the gardens and the mountain views!
Fun Fact: if you are planning to visit Biltmore Estate, perhaps during your Babymoon in Asheville, if you purchase tickets from the ticket center after 3pm, the ticket is good for that day AND the entire next day to explore the grounds (which are vast and beautiful with so much to ground to cover and so much to see and do on the Estate!)
How much does a Maternity Photoshoots cost?
The Maternity Session Creative Fee is $400. This fee covers a Pre-Session planning consultation with Brittany. This fee covers Custom, Couture Maternity Gowns and any prop items needed for your session. Lastly this fee includes professional hair and makeup service at our Biltmore Village Portrait Studio ahead of your Maternity Photoshoot!
What about Print Products, Wall Art, Heirloom Albums and Digital Files?
Your portrait proof gallery will be delivered within seven days of your session date! Once you’ve received your gallery, you’ll have seven days with your online gallery to choose either an Heirloom Print Collection OR to order from the A La Carte product list within your online gallery.
You do not have to make any decisions until you see your proofs! And, best of all: you only buy what you absolutely LOVE!
